So baseball has spring training, football has pre-season and I’ve got the “it’s not raining anymore so let’s haul out the Weber” season.
Ergo, it’s the first BBQ of the season! We all decided to BBQ some chicken parts (Ivan), angus steak (me) and, erm, a Pork Log (Andy).
As the “master of fire”, I fired up the coals and started up the grill. Dun worry, I was supervised every step of the way.

Then it was time to BBQ chicken parts. I think this is a leg?

Now, I know you’re wondering, “what is a pork log”? Well, this is how it looks when you remove it from it’s cocoon.

Anyway, the pork log burned more than it cooked and in the name of saving time, it was disected in the name of “well burned food”.
The steaks turned out fine, as did the assorted chicken parts. Some people were sooo hungry that they couldn’t wait.

Thus ends the first BBQ of the season…
