Sometimes we need reminders of the eternal truths, just to keep us grounded. For example:

Checks you write for property tax get cashed immediately (overnight!) while checks the City owes take 16 weeks to show up,

And the most relevant eternal truth, at least regarding this entry (drum roll please),
Coffee and keyboards dun mix!
Yeah, I spilled a whole cuppa coffee onto my old Apple Pro Keyboard. It initially worked after I poured the coffee out of the number pad. But now, it dun work. So am looking at this as a replacement. It’s supposed to be a good keyboard (I played with one briefly) and it makes the clickity clackity sound that most boards dun do anymore.
Productive AND annoying!
