{"id":807,"date":"2009-06-18T00:17:47","date_gmt":"2009-06-18T00:17:47","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/walking-ixus.net\/blog\/?p=807"},"modified":"2009-06-18T00:17:47","modified_gmt":"2009-06-18T00:17:47","slug":"sf_north_beach_festival_2009_q","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/walking-ixus.net\/blog\/sf_north_beach_festival_2009_q\/","title":{"rendered":"SF North Beach Festival 2009"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>I made a brief visit to the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.sfnorthbeach.org\/NBFestival\/\">North Beach Festival<\/a> last Sunday.<br \/>\n<img data-recalc-dims=\"1\" loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" alt=\"nbwashsq.jpg\" src=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/www.walking-ixus.net\/blog\/photos\/nbwashsq.jpg?resize=525%2C394\" width=\"525\" height=\"394\" class=\"mt-image-none\" style=\"\" \/><br \/>\n<em>Washington Square all crowded<\/em><br \/>\nThe North Beach Festival is one of the mainstays of San Francisco summer fair season where Washington Square and part of Grant Avenue is taken over by musicians, food, art and product vendors.  The same vendors who are also at the Chestnut Street, Castro and Fillmore Street fairs, in case you missed them there.  The North Beach Festival is different.  Unlike the Chestnut Street Fair, you&#8217;re not confined to a corral if you wish to indulge in an adult beverage.  Of course, maybe it was logistically impossible because of the density of the crowd.  Problem is that when you have a crowd like this, this is what happens to your AT&#038;T signal.<br \/>\n<img data-recalc-dims=\"1\" loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" alt=\"nbattfail.jpg\" src=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/www.walking-ixus.net\/blog\/photos\/nbattfail.jpg?resize=480%2C640\" width=\"480\" height=\"640\" class=\"mt-image-none\" style=\"\" \/><br \/>\n<em>Notice the upper left corner of my iPhone?  It says &#8220;searching&#8221;.  And that&#8217;s all.<\/em><br \/>\nOf course, it&#8217;s not all smug and maturity.
