On my last trip, I had dinner at <a href=\"http:\/\/www.halia.com.sg\/singapore\/html\/halia_restaurant.html\">Halia<\/a> in the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.sbg.org.sg\/index.asp\">Singapore Botanical Gardens<\/a> and then a stroll in the gardens, though not in the same visit.<br \/>\nThis visit, myself and a friend took a ride on the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.singaporeflyer.com\/index.php?lang=en\">Singapore Flyer<\/a>.  It&#8217;s currently the biggest ferris wheel in the world and is very air conditioned and very smooth.  I usually have a problem with heights (that&#8217;s why I fly a lot!) but it wasn&#8217;t an issue this time.  Because I was enjoying the view AND taking night pix!<br \/>\n<span class=\"mt-enclosure mt-enclosure-image\" style=\"display: inline;\"><img data-recalc-dims=\"1\" loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" alt=\"marinabay.jpg\" src=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/www.walking-ixus.net\/blog\/photos\/marinabay.jpg?resize=525%2C394\" width=\"525\" height=\"394\" class=\"mt-image-none\" style=\"\" \/><\/span><br \/>\n<em>I think this is the construction site of the Marina Bay casino&#8230;<\/em><br \/>\n<span class=\"mt-enclosure mt-enclosure-image\" style=\"display: inline;\"><img data-recalc-dims=\"1\" loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" alt=\"marinabay2.jpg\" src=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/www.walking-ixus.net\/blog\/photos\/marinabay2.jpg?resize=525%2C394\" width=\"525\" height=\"394\" class=\"mt-image-none\" style=\"\" \/><\/span><br \/>\n<em>If you watched the Grand Prix last year, I think you&#8217;ll recognize these buildings.<\/em><br \/>\n<span class=\"mt-enclosure mt-enclosure-image\" style=\"display: inline;\"><img data-recalc-dims=\"1\" loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" alt=\"cbd.jpg\" src=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/www.walking-ixus.net\/blog\/photos\/cbd.jpg?resize=525%2C394\" width=\"525\" height=\"394\" class=\"mt-image-none\" style=\"\" \/><\/span><br \/>\n<em>The CBD and the Fullerton Hotel.<\/em><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>I think that each time I visit the Lion City, I will do ONE touristy thing.
