Fun fun fun!<br \/>\nToday, I went to check out the amphibious assault ship, the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.boxer.navy.mil\/\">USS Boxer<\/a>.<br \/>\nHere&#8217;s the well deck, where hovercraft and ground vehicles are loaded and unloaded.  It&#8217;s wood for traction since this part of the ship can take on water.<br \/>\n<a href=\"http:\/\/www.walking-ixus.net\/blog\/photos\/welldeck.html\" onclick=\"window.open('http:\/\/www.walking-ixus.net\/blog\/photos\/welldeck.html','popup','width=640,height=480,scrollbars=no,resizable=no,toolbar=no,directories=no,location=no,menubar=no,status=no,left=0,top=0'); return false\"><img data-recalc-dims=\"1\" loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/www.walking-ixus.net\/blog\/photos\/welldeck-thumb.jpg?resize=320%2C240\" width=\"320\" height=\"240\" alt=\"\" \/><\/a><br \/>\nThe flight deck is over 2 acres big!
