But I&#8217;ve always believed in ordering the sampler plate whenever I try out a new restaurant.  And I like to think of this as being a &#8220;sampler tour&#8221; of the rest of Japan.<br \/>\nAnd since the JR Pass lasts for a week, gotta get my money&#8217;s worth!<br \/>\nAlthough, the areas north of Tokyo (primarily Hokkaido) I&#8217;ve not seen yet.  Save that for another trip.
